The Story Behind the What’s Happenin’ Network
What’s Happenin’ Network began as a simple idea in a single Georgia town, tell the stories that matter right here at home.
It all started with What’s Happenin’ Hinesville, a small hyper‑local project created to keep residents informed about community events, city updates, and local stories. What began as a passion project quickly grew into something bigger: people wanted more news, more features, more community coverage, and more ways to stay connected.
Before the first episode of What’s Happenin’ Liberty even launched, the idea started spreading. As we shared the concept with more people, other counties wanted their own version. Many communities were asking for a platform that celebrated their stories, their businesses, their events, and their local culture.
That’s when the mission grew beyond a single show.
Today, that spark has become the What’s Happenin’ Network
